·100 % Electronic payment to Contractors, Suppliers & Employees started with effect from 01.12.08 by way of RTGS/NEFT.
·100 % Electronic payment to all staff taking salary through banks started with effect from 01.01.2010 by way of NEFT.
·Settlement payment to staff is being done by NEFT/RTGS w.e.f Oct-10.
·9240 Employees out of 16495 Employees of this Division taking salary through banks, an increase of about 25% in the last quarter.
·Daily reconciliation of cheques & bills isbeingensured.
·Printing of cheques started in this Division.
·Pasting of sticker on the name of the party & the amount on the cheques started in order to avoid any irregularity.
·A special drive was launched alongwith an NSDL authorised agency for allotment to PAN Nos to staff of this division at the rates prescribed by NSDL, as a result of which nearly 8713New PAN Nos were made available to employees. Nos of employees in this division has now increased to 10513 from 1800 earlier.
·A training module was conducted with the help of RBI for cashiers & PRS staff to detect fake notes.
·No tender case pending with any finance member as on date.
·CRIS has been approached to implement IPAS with the features of PRIME and AFRES on the pattern of ECOR. Approval of Rly Bd has been received in HQ. Targets have been given by Rly Bd, and they are being implemented.
·Net working of the Divisional Accounts office completed in order to introduce transparency & accountability.
·About 2835 finance cases have been disposed off in the financial year 2010-11 (Upto Feb), with a saving of Rs. 15.34 Crores approximately.
·103 cases solved to the satisfaction of concerning employees in the Pension Adalat.
·Clearance of Audit Inspection report part- I has been the thrust area, as a result of which about 30 inspection report have been cleared in the last quarter.
·About 557 cases of normal retirement have been ensured smoothly upto Dec-10, with the simultaneous saving of Rs.13.78 lacs approximately.
·20 Stock sheets have been cleared in the last quarter, with 14 SS remaining outstanding.
·2 Special letters have been closed in the last quarter while 5 are outstanding.
·New pension scheme has been computerized & permanent retirement account number allotted to 2635 staff, with reconciliation being up to date.
·`. 2.31 Crores has been realized till Feb-11 in bills recoverable.
·No Railway Board Inspection report is pending for disposal on date.
·Bonus payments done as per schedule and without any complaints.
·A Dak Module for observance of receipt & dispatch of letters & cases, their progress & a CO6 – CO7 tracker to check the status of bills by officers has been introduced in order to bring transparency & accountability in the system.
·A courier service has been hired for prevention of loss of PPOs & Dak & also to reduce expenditure on TA.
·Information on billing status, leave & PF balance is being given online to staff, contractors & suppliers from our website www.nerailway.gov.in/ljnacc. The website is currently under modification/up gradation by CRIS/New Delhi.
·A computerized Contractor Ledger Management system has been introduced for giving information about the progress of ongoing works.
