RAJBHASHA DEPARTMENT
Rajbhasha department of the division is committed for the implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Union and propagation of Rajbhasha Hindi in divisional and subordinate offices. The department is always aware about the guidelines issued by the Department of Official Language (Ministry for Home Affairs), Ministry for Railways and North Eastern Railway Head Quarter and committed to implement it. Underable leadership of Divisional Rail Manager and guidanceof Additional Divisional Rail Manager and Apar Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari, Rajbhasha Department organize meeting, seminars, workshops to provoke the officers as well as staff for use of Hindi in day to day official work. It provide version of English document through translation and a forum for creative expression by publication of six monthly magazine 'Kashi-Pratibimb' and quarterly news bulletin 'Mandal-Samvad'. By various activities, the department playing an effective role to accelerate the use of Hindi in every sphere of work.
